Our Story
In 1947, our grandfather Shahul Hameed began making banana chips in his small Shop in Alathur, Palakkad, Kerala. With nothing but fresh Nendran bananas, pure coconut oil, and his own hands, he poured love and care into every slice.
What started as his humble craft became a family tradition—passed from generation to generation. Today, S.M.R Chips still carries his legacy forward, keeping alive the same warmth, purity, and authentic taste he created more than 75 years ago.
